Susan Cwieka, campus executive director for New Pond Village says, “With the addition of the memory care neighborhood, our residents can be confident about remaining here in their chosen home even if their care needs change. The new neighborhood is designed to include visual cues and themes that help stimulate memory so that not only do our residents feel engaged but so do their families.”

Cwieka says that New Pond Village is committed to the independence, empowerment and well-being of its residents. “The new neighborhood offers a community of support led by dedicated, expert caregiving leaders and associates with a common goal to exceed the expectations of residents and their families.” says Cwieka.

New Pond Village uses a Mind & Memory approach to care, says Tasha Thomas, memory care neighborhood director. “Mind & Memory is about understanding what matters most to an individual. Our goal is for residents to continue to live their best life each day, and our new memory care neighborhood is ready to empower residents to do just that.”
