Our Tastes Around the World Event Showcased the Flavor of Life at New Pond Village
It was a whirlwind trip for guests of our second annual Tastes Around the World event on Tuesday, August 30th.
Upon arrival, our travelers had their photo taken for a personalized passport that gained them access to spaces around our community that had been transformed into Ireland, Mexico and Japan.
As is the case with all our celebrations at New Pond Village, Executive Chef Michael Christopherson’s food was the star of the show. In the Irish-themed dining room, guests were offered corned beef sliders and Guinness beer. Margaritas and spicy chicken rolls were a huge hit in our Mexico-inspired activities room, and momos with green tea were served inside an apartment home decorated with a Japanese motif.
Many of the 75 guests were first-time visitors to our community and were blown away by our beautiful campus and the incredible hospitality of our associates and residents. But the biggest impression we left? New Pond Village knows how to throw a party! Check out the highlights in our video.
