Roles and Responsibilities

Meaghan Lyver began her job as director of community relations at New Pond Village in July 2021. In her role, she serves as a trusted source of information and guidance for potential residents and their families as they navigate their senior living journey.

The community aspect she likes to stress most when talking to prospects is how welcoming and friendly everyone is, adding, “I feel like I ended up with 100 grandparents overnight!”

Passion for Senior Care

In high school, she worked at a Masonic Home senior living community as a server in the dining room and “fell in love with all the residents and their families. I always knew that I wanted to have a career working in that type of environment,” she says. “So, when I saw this role open, I applied for it immediately.”

She says her favorite part of the job is building relationships with prospective residents and families, getting to know them and how they will fit into the community.

Personal Interests

When she’s not at work, Meaghan enjoys spending time with her family and dog. She loves doing anything that involves being outdoors.
