Passion for Senior Care
The part residents care about most—good food—is also her favorite part of the job. “I love providing good food to great people,” she says. “The perfect burger or a skillfully seared salmon can make someone’s day.”

Career Journey
Lacey began her culinary journey at Jobs Corps in Fort Devens, Mass. She made a career switch from the restaurant industry to senior living in search of a better work-life balance. Once she started working with seniors, she realized it was the perfect fit.
“I took the leap into senior living when I realized it meant I would get out before 11 PM,” she says. “I stayed because I felt like every good meal made a difference.”
Milestones
Lacey earned an associate’s degree in food science from the New England Culinary Institute in Burlington, VT. Her expertise in cooking extends to various international cuisines.
Personal Interests
When she’s not cooking up great food for our residents, Lacey plays bass for an all-girl band. She’s also a yo-yo enthusiast.
