Roles and Responsibilities

Jeff Cormier is responsible for overseeing all maintenance functions at New Pond Village. His role includes managing overall campus operations, coordinating customizations of resident homes, ensuring preventive maintenance and guaranteeing the seamless functioning of all systems.

Passion for Senior Care

Since stepping into his role, Jeff has developed a true passion for working with seniors. He values hearing their stories and cherishes the warm, family-like atmosphere that defines life at New Pond Village.

Career Journey

Prior to joining New Pond Village, Jeff Cormier dedicated 36 years to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. During his tenure, he was a member of the Underwater Operations Team (UOT), conducting critical underwater inspections of state, city and town bridges to ensure structural safety. Later, Jeff was appointed Assistant Maintenance Engineer, where he took on a leadership role in developing, implementing and coordinating transportation policies and projects across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Milestones

During his tenure with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Cormier served as a member of the Underwater Operations Team (UOT), where he conducted underwater inspections of all state, city and town bridges required in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS).

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys attending sporting events and routing for his favorite New England sports teams.
