Lacey Rainey

Food & Beverage Director

Lacey Rainey, our Food & Beverage Director, made a career switch from the restaurant industry to senior living in search of a better work-life balance. Once she started working with seniors, she realized it was the perfect fit.

“I took the leap into senior living when I realized it meant I would get out before 11 p.m.,” she says. “I stayed because I felt like every good meal made a difference.”

Lacey manages all New Pond Village kitchen operations, including cooking, hiring and training.

The part residents care about most, good food, is also her favorite part of the job.

“I love providing good food to great people,” she says. “The perfect burger or a skillfully seared salmon can make someone’s day.”

Lacey began her culinary journey at Jobs Corps in Fort Devens, MA. She went on to earn an associate degree in food science from the New England Culinary Institute in Burlington, VT. Her expertise in cooking extends to various international cuisines.

When she’s not cooking up great food for our residents, Lacey plays bass for an all-girl band. She’s also a yo-yo enthusiast.
