Halloween Fun Comes Alive at New Pond Village 🎃
The joy of elementary school days lives on through the beloved tradition of dressing up for Halloween at New Pond Village. For the past eight years, our associates have redefined team spirit each October with cleverly coordinated group costumes. It’s a festive display of creativity, collaboration and pure fun that residents and associates eagerly anticipate.
Parade, Party and Smiles All Around
With nearly 20 team members participating in some years, each ensemble costume is carefully curated to ensure every associate has a role—no matter how unconventional. The parade around the community during the annual Halloween party brings smiles and laughter to everyone.
Clever Costumes Through the Years
Past celebrations have delighted the community with clever nods to pop culture. In 2021, associates embraced the spooky and kooky spirit of The Addams Family—with a pun-filled twist honoring Executive Director Adam Manchester.

In 2023, the ensemble took on The Wizard of Oz, complete with a tornado as part of the cast.

Last year, characters straight out of Alice in Wonderland—from the playful Mad Hatter to the fiery Queen of Hearts—brought joy and whimsy, enchanting residents and associates alike.

A Tradition That’s Here to Stay
“This tradition is something that everyone at the community looks forward to each fall—it’s part of the New Pond culture,” said Executive Director Adam Manchester. He jokingly adds, “We even ask during the interview process, ‘How do you feel about Halloween?’”
A Galaxy Far, Far Away
And the fun continues! This year, the troop boldly ventured into a galaxy far, far away with a Star Wars theme—lightsabers included. At New Pond Village, Halloween isn’t just a holiday—it’s a celebration of creativity, community and a little friendly mischief that keeps everyone smiling.
