At New Pond Village there is an interesting and engaging calendar of events and activities. Residents decide how they want to spend their day. It is all about choice at the Walpole, Massachusetts, retirement community.

There are numerous ways to remain independent and be empowered in retirement. Five of those are listed below:

  1. Join one of many active and involved committees at New Pond Village.
  2. New Pond Village residents are very philanthropic within the Walpole community.
  3. Host your current investment groups, book clubs, bridge groups or other groups at new Pond Village. Complimentary beverages and sweet treats will be provided by the New Pond Village management team.
  4. Invite friends, family or a new resident of New Pond Village to join you for lunch or dinner.
  5. Play golf, pickle ball, bridge or another activity at least once a week to stay active, engaged and meet new people with similar interests.

New Pond Village’s activity calendar is rich in variety. Residents have choices to take day trips into Boston, attend a ballgame or stay in the community and take part in daily, weekly or monthly social activities.

“If you want to go do something, there are all sorts of opportunities,” says longtime resident Leif Jacobsen. “There are trips that take you to everything from museums to zoos.”

Leif lived in Walpole for more than 50 years before moving to New Pond Village. Leif never left the place he called home and New Pond Village is where his next Walpole chapter started.
