New Pond Village has named Pamela DeSimone director of human resources.

We look forward to the continued growth and success of our human resources department under her leadership.”

Responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources

As director of human resources, Pamela is responsible for managing recruiting efforts, facilitating learning and development initiatives, administering benefits, driving organizational development and fostering associate engagement.

Extensive Experience Across Industries

Pamela brings 27 years of experience to the position, working in multi-faceted, complex industries from higher education and manufacturing to food service and facilities management. She prides herself on her deep understanding of both the business side and employee perspective, allowing her to easily navigate relationships with various stakeholders across organizations and ensure alignment between HR goals and business objectives.

A Passion for Building Meaningful Relationships

“Since beginning my role as director of human resources, I have found immense fulfillment in building meaningful relationships with residents, listening to their stories, and sharing in their accomplishments and celebrations,” said Pamela.

Human Resource Credentials and Personal Interests

Pamela studied business analytics at Bryant University and holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP) certification. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and rescuing dogs in search of a permanent home.
